Spring Wildflower Mini Sessions with the PBK Mini Model Team

Spring in Texas is always a gamble. One day it's sunny and 85°, the next it's pouring rain...and this year definitely kept us on our toes.

I swear I refreshed the weather app a hundred times leading up to these mini sessions. Every forecast looked different, and I was convinced we were going to end up shooting between rain showers (or not at all). But somehow, we got lucky. The rain stayed away, the sun came out, and we ended up with the prettiest evening for our PBK Mini Model Team wildflower minis!

The girls all showed up in gorgeous flowy maxi dresses, which couldn't have been more perfect for this session. There was just enough breeze to make the dresses move beautifully, the wildflowers were showing off, and the golden sunshine gave us the dreamiest light. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better combination.

These seasonal mini sessions are one of my favorite parts of the PBK Mini Model Team. It's so much fun getting to photograph the girls throughout the year instead of just once. Every session has a completely different feel, and watching everyone's personalities shine through in front of the camera never gets old.

I'm so thankful the weather finally decided to cooperate, and even more thankful for these amazing girls who are always willing to trust my vision (even when I keep saying, "Let's wait one more day and see what the forecast does.")

I already can't wait for the next PBK Mini Model Team session!
